Photographing the Convera Booth at Money20/20 Las Vegas

Las Vegas corporate event photographer coverage from Money20/20

Money20/20 Las Vegas is one of the largest fintech conferences in the world, and every year it takes over the Las Vegas Convention Center with massive booths, nonstop programming, and a constant flow of attendees. From a photography standpoint, it’s a fast-moving environment with very little downtime and a lot happening all at once.

I was brought in to photograph Convera’s presence at Money20/20, documenting their booth across several days on the show floor. As a Las Vegas event photographer, this is the kind of assignment that’s less about individual hero shots and more about paying attention to how everything fits together — the space, the people, and the moments in between.

Photographing a Trade Show Booth at Money20/20

Photographing a booth at a show like Money20/20 starts with understanding scale. The booths are large, the ceilings are high, and the lighting is a mix of ambient hall light, LED screens, and stage lighting. It’s important to show how a brand like Convera occupies that space while still keeping the images clean and readable.

Early in the day, I focused on wide shots that showed the booth within the context of the show floor. As the halls filled up, the emphasis shifted toward interaction — conversations at the counters, attendees moving through the space, and the natural flow of traffic around the booth.

Branding, Details, and In-Between Moments

Beyond the wide shots, I’m always looking for smaller moments that help tell the story of the event. Signage, screens, textures, and branding details all play a role, especially for corporate clients who need images that work across websites, presentations, and marketing materials.

Just as important are the in-between moments — quick conversations, reactions, and candid exchanges that happen away from the main stage. Those images tend to feel the most natural and often end up being the most useful after the event.

Live Sessions and On-Stage Conversations

Convera’s booth hosted live discussions throughout Money20/20, adding another layer to the coverage. Stage photography at a trade show means working within tight sightlines and constantly changing light, all while staying out of the way.

Rather than overshooting, I focus on timing — watching expressions, gestures, and interactions between speakers. These moments help convey the energy of the conversations and give context to what attendees experienced on the show floor.

Experience Matters on the Las Vegas Show Floor

Large conferences in Las Vegas don’t leave much room for hesitation. Knowing when to move, when to wait, and when a moment is about to happen comes from experience.

After photographing corporate events and conferences in Las Vegas for more than twenty years, I’m comfortable working in these environments without disrupting the flow of the event. That allows clients like Convera to stay focused on their goals while I focus on documenting what’s happening in front of me.

Las Vegas Event Photography for Conferences and Trade Shows

Images from Money20/20 are used long after the show ends — on company websites, in sales decks, across social media, and in press materials. The goal is always to deliver a set of images that feels cohesive and useful, not just a recap of the event.

Photographing the Convera booth at Money20/20 is a good example of the kind of corporate event photography I regularly handle in Las Vegas. If you’re planning a conference, trade show, or corporate event and are looking for an experienced Las Vegas event photographer, I’m always happy to talk about upcoming projects.
